Clean & Unclean
Some Christians today believe that the dietary laws regarding clean and unclean meats don’t have any relevance now because they were strictly ceremonial. In addition, some believe that Jesus declared all foods clean in Mark 7:19 and that Peter’s vision in Acts 10 proves that the ban on unclean foods was lifted.
Is this true? Can Christians eat pork now? Have the dietary laws in the Bible been done away with? Did Jesus really declare all foods clean? Or could it be that we have been overlooking important facts regarding clean and unclean?
